The Royal British Legion
As the nation's custodian of Remembrance, the Royal British Legion is committed to helping everyone understand the importance of Remembrance so those sacrifices are never forgotten.
They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Remembrance Sunday, the second Sunday in November, is the day traditionally put aside to remember all those who have given their lives for the peace and freedom we enjoy today.

Poems of Remembrance
As the custodians of Remembrance, The Royal British Legion is calling on the nation to unite in commemorating Remembrance Sunday at the 2014 Cenotaph Parade in Whitehall or at your local event on November 9.
The Cenotaph ceremony is organised annually by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, with The Royal British Legion coordinating the March Past.
